Built for many tanks
Ten tanks means ten sets of readings, water changes and stocking lists to keep straight.
The Tanks page lists each tank with its health, volume, age, last test, what is due next and what lives in it. Search by name, filter by water type, or sort by the tank tested least recently.

The dashboard puts overdue reminders first, counts how many tanks are healthy and names the tank that has gone longest without a test. Check off several reminders at once when the rounds are done.
Set repeating water changes, filter rinses and dosing on any tank, or on one fish, plant or piece of equipment in it. Reminders that come due together arrive in one email.
Log tests for each tank and follow every parameter on its own chart. Each reading is checked against the care ranges of the species in that tank.
Archive a tank when it comes down, and its history stays for when it goes back up. Plan the next build in the planner with its livestock, plants, equipment and a budget.
Connect TankBud to Claude or ChatGPT and ask which tanks are due for a water change, or log a test from the conversation.

Made for serious hobbyists

Breeders
Pairs, fry and grow-out tanks each keep their own water and reminders, so no tank on the rack gets skipped.

Planted and nano tanks
A shelf of small tanks gets the same care as one big display, with every trim and dose on record.

Community and species tanks
A planted community, a cichlid tank and a shrimp colony are each checked against the species that live in them.
Plan the next tank first
Price the build and check the stocking before anything goes on the rack. A plan never counts toward the free limit.

Common questions
What counts toward the free limit?
Active tanks only. Archived tanks and plans in the planner never count, so archiving a tank frees a slot.
Is there a free trial?
No. The free plan covers 4 tanks with no time limit, so you can use everything before you need Plus.
What happens if I cancel?
Plus runs to the end of the period you paid for. After that every tank stays, and you can add another once fewer than 4 are active.
Does Plus add anything else?
No. Plus lifts the tank limit, and everything else is the same logbook the free plan has.
What does yearly billing save?
Two months. Yearly Plus is $50, the same as paying for ten months instead of twelve.
I pay for TankBud Pro. Do I need Plus?
No. A paid TankBud Pro plan lifts the limit on its owner's personal workspace too.
Where do I manage Plus?
In the app, open Settings and then Billing. The Manage billing button opens Stripe's portal, where you update your card, see past invoices and cancel.
