Care guides on TankBud sometimes link to retailers that stock the species or plant on the page. Some of those links are affiliate links: if you buy after clicking one, the retailer pays TankBud a small commission. It never changes the price you pay.

Commissions never decide what appears. Retailers are listed because they are good sources for that animal or plant: healthy stock, fair guarantees, reliable shipping. Whether a retailer pays a commission has no effect on whether it appears, where it ranks, or what any care guide recommends. Many of the shops we link, including some of the best livestock sellers, pay nothing at all.

You can tell when a list contains affiliate links: a short note appears under it. Lists without the note contain only plain links.
